From N-232 (Logroño): According to the ring next, LO-20, take exit 5 and join Avenida Lope de Vega. At the 3rd roundabout go right towards Calle Chile, continues to reach the Calle Marques de Murrieta, turn right and walk to number 1.

Get a taxi that will charge you 20€ approximately and it will take 15 minutes.

The Romanesque Yuso Monastery rises at the end of the valley (XI century). It is popularly known as the Escorial de la Rioja for its magnificence. It’s key to visit the sacristy, library and its magnificent cloister. Nearby is the Monastery of Suso. It was an old Visigoth monastery, probably the oldest in Spain at only 42 km.
It has a famous Wine Museum. In addition to its universal renowned wineries, we must highlight the City Council, the palaces of Paternina and de la Cruz, St. Thomas Church and the Basilica of Nuestra Señora de la Vega, the Old Town, the Jewish Quarter, the baroque palace of the Counts of Haro, etc. There is a chance that you might visit one of its famous wineries at only 45 km.
Monasterio de Valvanera
located in an area of great natural beauty, which keeps the patron saint of La Rioja, this is the meeting point of constant Marian pilgrimages and inhabited by Benedictine monks, at only 58 kms.
